Well, I don't remember the last time this happened, but I watched last night's episode and had no clue it was the season finale. I thought we had a good 3 more episodes left easily. 10 episodes is a short season.
But last night's episode was very good, and I'm looking forward to season 2.

Sounds like 2 endings will be shot, and the other will be a DVD extra.

That's good. The first episode of the new season seemed a little slow. Not as good as the second half of last season. I wonder if the show will follow last season's pattern and pick up steam around episode 7.

It also looks as though they're altering the format, and I'm not sure as yet as to whether that's a good or a bad thing. We'll have to see how it begins developing over the next couple of episodes to know. Apparently she won't be working as closely with the police as she was during the first season, so I wonder to what extent they'll begin moving into the background if that's the case.
There's a few other things I could comment about, but I'll hold off for now.

So before this season started, I had read that the second season wasn't as good as the first, but picks up later, kind of like last season.
But as I'm watching, I'm finding that maybe the first episode was a little slow, but after that, the show's quality is fine. I see no issue.

So before this season started, I had read that the second season wasn't as good as the first, but picks up later, kind of like last season. But as I'm watching, I'm finding that maybe the first episode was a little slow, but after that, the show's quality is fine. I see no issue. "Continuum" is one of the best sci-fi shows on the air right now, and I say that in spite of the fact that most of it takes place in present-day. The writing keeps you interested and wanting to come back for more and to see where it goes. I also think some of the action this season has been very good and well done. I thought Keira revealing herself to Carlos was a little anti-climactic, especially given how Travis was pressing her to tell him the truth several episodes earlier when he was being transported to another penitentiary prior to his escape, and I thought Carlos should have at least mentioned that scene when she revealed to him who she really is and where she comes from, but I have no real complaints otherwise. Sometimes I just wish that a season of this show was more than just ten episodes though. Thirteen, as is the case for most shows that call a half-season a full season, would be better. Also, I don't know why they had to give Keira's partner the name he has when he doesn't really pass for Hispanic. But whatever --I just figured I'd throw that last comment in because I've been thinking it for the better part of two seasons now.

The reveal was a little weak considering. Did anyone watch Alias? Jennifer Garner's character had a big reveal to a character that was played by Bradley Cooper in I believe the second season (or maybe it was the first) that was absolutely brilliant.
Just as big a secret as Keira's but the reveal was just awesome.
I guess it's good he knows though.

Well, if that's correct I only saw the last two, so I missed the first three I believe, and I never went back to check them out. Funny that Bradley Cooper was a guest on that show though. I didn't think he did television work prior to hitting it big in movies.

Bradley Cooper was actually a main cast member for the first two seasons, and apparently a guest on occasion after that.
The first two seasons of this show were incredible. People said it slowed down after that, and I'm in the middle of Season 3 now. They did one episode in the second season that was very brave since it could have been a series finale, except for the mega cliffhanger.
The interesting part was that episode took place in the middle of the second season, so it wasn't a finale of any kind.
The show changed direction in Season 3, which is where I am. While there is a slight dip in quality, it's not that bad at all, and I'm enjoying season 3.
