MeTV airs old TV shows. William Shatner guest stars in a 1971 episode of Mission Impossible titled Encore. It airs Friday, May 18, at 2 AM (Pacific). Shatner plays an aging mobster who must be convinced that he's back in the 1930's to get information out of him.
Btw, the day before that, Antoinette Bower guest stars in MI. I'm sure you all remember her as Sylvia in the TOS episode, Catspaw. That was 45 years ago, and I still remember that episode well (of course, who knows how often I saw it in reruns). I saw a picture of Bower from last year. IMO, she's still hot.

Was Nimoy part of the cast in this episode?

No. Encore is from Season Six, Episode 2. The airdate is September 25, 1971. It looks like Nimoy's character, Paris, stopped with Season 5.

Too bad. That would have been cool. I haven't seen too much of Nimoy outside of Spock, so it's always weird to see him doing something different.

Nimoy played The Great Paris in seasons 4 and 5 of Mission Impossible. He was a great replacement for Martin Landau's character Rollin Hand. But by the end of season 5 you could tell that Nimoy was getting bored. I don't think they gave him enough to do. MI was a great show, please ignore that crapola that Tom Cruise put out.

After his years as Spock, it was great, for me, to see his lovely smile.
Nimoy was in a recent Columbo episode, A Stitch in Time. I saw him as the character, not Spock, but a friend watching with me kept saying he looked exactly and acted like Spock. After that, I noticed every time he arched his eyebrow. However, his character was fairly evil. When the eyebrow was down, he was back in character for me.
