Over at Blastr:Lance Henriksen says a Millennium movie is gonna happen Whatever happened to Fox's Millennium? The underrated drama was constantly eclipsed by The X-Files, and never got the respect it deserved. It only ran for three seasons (1996-1999), and series star Lance Henriksen believes there's more story to tell—on the big screen. MORE: blastr.com/2012/05/lance-henriksen-says-a-mi.php

I like Millennium, though it ends up going all over the place from season to season. I'd be into a movie if they did it right, but would they be able to? Would the Group be involved? How could they do that considering how muddled everything got with them?
It would be interesting to see how Frank and Jordan have got on in the past ten years. Part of what made the show's focus was the world as we approached apocalypse with the new millennium. That angle is harder to play up now.
Lance sounds like he wants Frank Black to get a little Jack Bauer in him. Not sure if that's smart or not. And it's a shame Terry O'Quinn couldn't be in the movie since they killed his character at the end of the series (though we never did see the face on that body...)

I tried Millennium several times, but had to give it up. Despite loving Lance Henriksen, the show was too dark and gruesome for me. That response caught me off guard, as I haven't experienced it before or since.

Great show! It had no consistency because Carter left during season 2 and they took it in a different direction (a better one in my opinion). He returned for season 3 which was inconsistent and largely ignored season 2.
I'm up for a movie!
