NBCUniversal ordered that this trailer be pulled from YouTube and other places and have passed on it as a series. It's still up in the air to whether it will ever be aired or just made available as a Web series.

and when it finally arrives, it likely won't be worth the wait. Just that 2 minutes was a reminder of all the horrible camera effects of BSG. If we only get this in webisode format for awhile, I don't want to watch; it'll just be zoomy cameras and 'splosions.
And what the heck with that awful remix of the theme music??

Okay, finally watched Blood and Chrome and I found I actually liked it. Not as much as Razor, but it was enjoyable for what it was, and a pleasant sorbet to wash the taste of Caprica out of my mouth.
The effects work looked great, I didn't remember there being too much zoomy camera stuff (there was some, but not enough it bothered me), and I even kind of liked the remix theme music that I complained about two years ago in this thread.
I was really not expecting much from it, and it exceeded my expectations.
I'm rewatching the series now, alongside The Plan in chronological order. There's already a big continuity issue. It's weird watching the early ones now knowing who's a Cylon and stuff. I still don't understand why they couldn't detect the Cylons though. The miniseries is pretty clear that they knew Leoban was a Cylon because after he died on Ragnor station he was found to have synthetic compounds in his body. Medical scans made him look human, but the cremated remains showed nonhuman traces. So I don't understand why they couldn't just take tissue samples from everyone, burn them, and check for similar synthetic compounds. It really makes humanity look stupid to me.
