cram im glad you chose honest abe to appear on site.when i was a kid and found out captain kirks hero was lincoln it peaked my interest.i now consider him my hero to after reading hundreds of books about him and visiting his birthplace.

I didn't even think of the whole Kirk connection until you pointed it out. Figured I would pick someone who few people could hate. I sure as hell wasn't going to pick Obama.

That photo of Lincoln is amazing. Such clarity: The lines in his forehead, the wrinkles beneath his eyes, how distinct his features are. The photo is at least 144 years old. It looks like it could have been taken recently.
I suppose it could be computer enhanced, filling blank spots (if any) with similar areas, to make the picture complete. I wonder if it was CE'd.
