Oh brother --they're copying AMCs "The Talking Dead", except TNT won't bother airing it.
Over at Blastr:Falling Skies gets its own talk show (hosted by Wil Wheaton!) Two very different sci-fi alien series will collide this summer, as Wil Wheaton ( Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Big Bang Theory) is set to host a new talk show based on TNT's hit invasion drama Falling Skies. Anyone watching this? A few episodes ago, the group of tired Americans rested at an abandoned hospital.
First, they came across the blonde teenager who speaks for the Overlord, who, as far as we know, is THE bigwig alien. Someone at least tried to kill her, but wasn't quick enough.
Later, the group accidentally captured the Overlord. My first thought was, "Kill him!" Many in the human group wanted to kill the Overlord, but Tom talked them out of it, saying that he had strategic value. Meanwhile, the hospital was surrounded. Tom said the Overlord could be used to barter their way out of the area.
I could not believe they didn't kill the Overlord when they had the chance. I wouldn't have bothered tying him up. Just bang, bang, you're dead! My family watches the show, and they were divided about it, and that really surprised me.
As far as I'm concerned, it's like WWII. Given the chance, you kill Hitler! You don't keep him hoping to negotiate!!
What do you guys think?

I guess I was wrong on that. But that said, this show has become very good this season.
Last season, it was watchable, but just ok. This season they really stepped it up and the show got a lot better.
