I clicked on the article. Under it is a picture of Wil Wheaton. That reminded me that I enjoyed him as Dr. Issac Parrish on Eureka, which has it's series finale a few weeks ago.

I doubt I'll watch this. I'm more interested in his acting projects over his life story. Not that he hasn't had a fascinating life.
I actually don't think of him as this brave activist. He really didn't come out until coming out was an in thing. It was safe at that point, and while there's nothing wrong with that, it's hardly a great act of bravery.
His opinions are interesting to read, even when I disagree with him.
He has his opinions, but he's not nasty about them like a lot of people who share his views.
But he does fall into the trap of thinking that people who don't agree with him are intolerant or stupid. That's not true. Tolerance has to work both ways, and that includes tolerating people who don't agree with you.
He is also very much in the wrong with his feud with Shatner. While I would not argue if Shatner was a dick in the 1960s, it's 2012, and well past the time to let it go. He owes Shatner a lot for the life and influence he has today.

Now THAT should be good. I watch that show, so it's not a stretch.
