I know we got into a conversation a few months back wherein we were discussing other shows that some of us watch and I had recommended this series for some of you to consider. Have any of you given it a look since then? www.cinemax.com/strike-back/Well, at any rate the third season premiere just aired this passed Friday night, and it was pretty darn good. Of course they'll also be airing it repeatedly throughout the week if any of you want to check it out, and you could always go back to look at the earlier season later if you wish. The third season premiere is basically a series reboot anyway, so it's a good starting point for newcomers.

Hey guys, check this video out on YouTube:
I know it looks like total crap, although you can raise the video quality up from 360 to 480, for what little that's worth. It was recorded on a cellphone off of a VHS tape, which is why it looks so shitty, but I figured people here might get a kick out of it nonetheless. This is from the next to last episode of season three, which finished its run in October, so I've sat on this thing and could have posted it months ago. Give it a look.

Am I the only one here who follows this show? If so, that's a shame, because it's a good series.
The first season, which never aired here until now, coming later this month, stars Richard Armitage ("MI-5", "The Hobbit") and Andrew Lincoln (star of "The Walking Dead"), and I definitely recommend it. It's only six parts, with each episode running just 50 minutes, so it's a short series, but worth watching.

We've had it at the library for awhile, I've just never checked it out. Maybe I will now.

Just be forewarned that we Americans don't come off looking very good in it, but don't let that stop you. Sorry for not having gotten to your season 5 review of B5 yet. I read it last week the night you posted it right before going to bed, and intended to get back to you over the weekend regarding it, but that didn't pan out as I intended. I haven't forgotten about it though.

We have two seasons, but they are both out right now so I don't know. But if it's only now seeing US release, I think it unlikely. Even so, we're bound to get it eventually. I like Armitage. So I'll probably get to it. Then again, I never did watch much MI-5 either. There is just not enough time in the day for all the good TV! There is just not enough time in the day for all the good TV! -TK MI-5 is a good series, and I was sorry to see it cancelled. Some of their episodes were exceptional. You should definitely try to get into that one too if you can. They probably have seasons one and two of "Stike Back" at your Public Library, which are actually seasons two and three because "Origins" with Richard Armitage and Andrew Lincoln was actually season one of the show, but since it wasn't aired here, Cinemax dubbed seasons two and three seasons one and two, but I recommend getting them anyway because the show gets rebooted at the beginning of the Cinemax-backed series. You can always go back and look at season one later, like they're doing over at Cinemax finally by airing season one under the "Origins" title. It wasn't called that originally. Frankly, I still think that first season with Armitage was the best, in spite of how Americans were made to look there, which I've also suspected probably had a lot to do with why Cinemax hasn't aired it prior to now. But get the ones they have and check them out.
