Today Google's main page did something fun as they sometimes do, and this time it's all about classic Trek. You can click on some things in the screen and bring up little animations. You can even fight the Gorn.
Go over to Google.com and check it out!

Tomorrow is Star Trek's 46th Anniversary. That's probably why they're doing it.
I saw the Gorn get clobbered on the head --that was a cute animation, but I avoid using Google now since they changed their policy and keep track of everyone's movements.

fair enough, which is why I don't have a Gmail account.
100 years ago, what Google is doing would be shut down by the anti-trust guys. But now for some reason it's okay for them to essentially own every popular facet of the internet and use it to undermine privacy.
In my opinion, integration is a terrible thing and I don't know why this post-modern world thinks that kind of synergy is a good idea.
