Since you gave a link for it, I'll mention that I absolutely love amazon.com. I love the range of merchandise and the service. They have so much information about each book, and great reader reviews, but Amazon never mentions whether books are considered fiction or non-fiction. I have to search each title if I want to know. Bummer!
I'm going to read The Return first. I dunno if I'll need a Shatner fix, but if I do, Shatner Quake would do it! I got a kick that it takes place after the first Shatner Con.

I always use Amazon. I just received "Dreams from My Real Father" on DVD from them, although haven't gotten to look at it yet. I doubt it'll be anywhere near as good as "2016: Obama's America", but I figured I'd check it out anyway.

Definitely read THE RETURN first.
Ashes of Eden isn't THAT important for THE RETURN, but it's somewhat important for Avenger, as a major character from Ashes becomes a major character for the next several novels.
