A little late, but I'll post it for what it's worth . . .
Over at io9:Why We Need a New Star Trek Show, and What It Should Be About For the 25th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Wired's Scott Thill posted some great interviews with producer Ronald D. Moore and star Michael Dorn (Worf), in which they both talk about why it's so important for us to get a new Star Trek show. I think we do need a new show and I always liked Trek's positive vision. I agree that the movie and TV franchises should be separate. As stated before, I have no problem with Michael Dorn making a TNG Direct-to-DVD film if Paramount allows it. This probably won't happen because Paramount is covetous to their own detriment.
