A couple of the boards I frequent have a "First Unread" bit at the top, which takes you straight to the first new post (at least new to you).

It would add to the convenience factor.

So would a Filter option for people you don't care to be bothered with and would prefer to Ignore. It doesn't look as though Proboards has that feature, however, unless it's something that has to be added by an Administrator.

I don't think there's a filter feature, but it's pretty easy to scroll past someone you don't like. It's not like AOL where you had to click on every post.
