Man, stuff is nuts here right now. Now, when I say "here", I'm far enough west that it's not directly affecting me, though my sister had to stay home from work today (she works in the city). And I do know people in Watertown. Here's hoping we apprehend this bombing suspect soon.
I remember Captain Basil had mentioned he was in Massachusetts. Hope he's okay; don't think we've heard from him this week.

Funny, not an hour after my post here, they've got the guy cornered in a boat in some guy's driveway. No telling if they'll be able to get him alive. UPDATE:About an hour after this was first posted, he was taken into custody. Now assuming he doesn't bleed out on the way to the hospital, that's something. Boy, it's been a crazy day.

I say they should give him tickets to Fenway Park. Sit him in a section with the families of his victims.
Put him on the big screen so people know where he is.
Do it on Bat Day.

Thanks for the concern, guys. I really appreciate it. I live 29 miles south of Boston, but work in Framingham, right near the thick of the lock down. As a matter of fact, the director of my department at work was out Friday because his town of Newton was in total lock down all day. This whole week has been nuts. I hope you never have to experience it. I live in Bridgewater, which is a college town and some idiot left a backpack on campus Friday and they shut the campus down. It was not full of explosives, it was full of beer. ;D
I'm glad they caught one of these bastards alive. Of course I live in a Blue state so , unless the Feds step in, he will get 3 hots and a cot for the rest of his life.

Thanks for the concern, guys. I really appreciate it. I live 29 miles south of Boston, but work in Framingham, right near the thick of the lock down. You work in Framingham? Dude, I'm in Framingham! I wonder if we've crossed paths at some point and never knew it. The craziness still hasn't ended. I went to see "42" at the AMC today and there were signs on all the doors "Please, no backpacks in the theater". Now, I walk everywhere and often wear my pack just to keep a phone and some stuff in plus in case I want to stop at Best Buy or something then I don't have to carry something in my hand for the walk home. So after the walk to the theater to see that sign while I'm wearing my backpack was so aggravating. I never took it off, and no one had a problem with it. But the fact they even feel the need to have signs like that shows how paranoid people can be. You want to search bags, that's reasonable if aggressive and unnecessary. But to just ban all backpacks is stupid. After the Aurora shooting when they banned costumes I thought it was reactionary and stupid, but at least that happened at a movie theater. So I'm gonna keep wearing my backpack and if they harrass me about it I'll fight back. Notice women all get to keep carrying their giant purses that might also have bombs in them. -TK
