I know we've heard about this numerous times at this point, but I have to say that if or when a new Trek show starts being developed, I hope he's not the one put in charge of it and that he doesn't have a key role on the series.

That jerk is going to have his name plastered on the screen along with that of his partner in crime, Kurtzman, as with so many shows they've produced, even the ones that aren't the least bit original on their parts, such as "Hawaii Five-O", and he'll be even more smug and cocky than he already is now. That in itself is distasteful for a variety of reasons, but it's what he'll do to the Trek brand that will be the biggest disgrace and the most bothersome of it all.

I would really only want to see it done in animated form, so they can use Kirk and crew.
I would do it in 26 half hour episodes, each 2 parts, done like Justice League Season 1.
