So Avery Brooks was arrested for DUI. Story at www.trekmovie.com It shows that sometimes the actor is nothing like the character he plays. I'm a big fan of Sisko. I'm no longer a fan of Brooks.

I'm a big Sisko fan and a fan of his portayal of Robert B. Parker's "Hawk" but I have heard that he's kind of a douchebag in real life (sigh). And why do these celebrities who can afford to have someone drive them around, get tanked and drive, endangering everyone ?

Hmm, considering the behavior he exhibited in the Shatner documentary, maybe the cops just assumed he was DUI and not just... you know, eccentric? I'm seriously troubled that there's something wrong with him.

I'm sure he failed a test. He could have also been drunk in the documentary. I didn't see it, so I can't say, but it's not impossible.

I'm seriously troubled that there's something wrong with him. He sure did seem mighty peculiar in Shatners documentary. I felt almost saddened by how odd Brooks appeared to be. But I suppose he could just be VERY "eccentric"....?

He obviously is eccentric, but I don't think being weird got him arrested.
