Super Bowl XLVI

As a Giants fan, I'm pretty pumped right now.

It's amazing how the Giants overcame an entire playoff run with terrible referees making terrible calls against them. This game had more non-calls than bad calls, but in the end, there was a happy ending for New York.

The Patriots have not won a Super Bowl since they got caught cheating.

It's also amazing how much this game paralleled the one from four years ago.

Very tense. It's a lot tougher to watch the Super Bowl when your team is in it.

Even though I am a Massachusetts native and still live there, I was not rooting for the Patriots. I thought they played badly and the Ravens should have been in the Super Bowl. I could get shot for saying this. I'm not a big foottall fan but I saw some of the game and I am happy the Giants won too. A late great friend of mine was a loyal Giants fan so I always root for them in his memory.

Fair enough. I need to take some time and watch the commercials. I was in a bar and wasn't focusing at all on them.

I'm just glad the Giants won. There's nothing like seeing your team win a championship. I'm fortunate to have seen it in more than one sport.
