I have no issue with what he's saying here, but I just feel that a true 50th anniversary movie should be more. This sounds like it would be a good non anniversary idea. Ultimately, it could be a normal TOS episode, but 2 hours long.

I think the only Trek movie to have no scenes on Earth was Insurrection. We've been too earth-bound recently. -TK
