In Boston this week, many were showing support by leaving chalk messages in the Public Garden around the "Good Will Hunting" bench.
There's even a movement among some to have a bronze statue of Williams put there. I hope they don't though, because to me I think the empty bench is more meaningful. Maybe just a little plaque or something.

Eh. He was a great talent, a funny man, but not a saint. I don't think he needs to be overhonored. He'll be remembered through his work.
