I would love to read the original. Doomsday Machine is one of my favortie episodes and Norman Spinrad is prpbably my wife's favorite science fiction writer if she had to pick just one.

Hi there. If you go to Spinrad's original article (not the StarTrek.com one) someone has posted links to ebay auctions featuring the Gene Coon scripts in the comments. So both scripts are out there.

I heard that too. The problem though is it takes so long for these episodes to come out that we may be looking at 3-5 years before we see it. Not their fault, but a reality.

Could be worse though. At least they do finish them eventually, unlike that Star Trek Exeter site.
That was so bad it was hilarious. The one episode released wasn't that bad. But I refused to watch the second episode until it was complete, and it's been like 7 years and counting since they released part one. Or something like that.
