Mel, don't you get it? Marc has abandoned his forum, and so everyone else stopped bothering to check in as well. And need I remind that I once extended an offer to try and help bring traffic here for the purpose of bringing in new members, but was met with a stony silence in return. It then became clear that no one really cared about this place anymore.

I don't check here much anymore. In fact I also swung by today because I typed in the URL out of impulse for some reason. I agree with Starfury, the board is pretty much dead now. I got sucked down the Reddit rabbit hole. I thought things might pick up here a little after Beyond came out, but that wasn't the case. Everyone had pretty much moved on. The last gasp will be if there's any activity when Discovery starts up, but I don't expect there will be much. But don't be a stranger, Mel! You can always pop over to Reddit too, or feel free to email me for just quick connection and chat. -TK

It's good to hear that Cram is alive and well. I was afraid he might have passed away. I know nothing about him, age, health, etc.; it was just a concern I had. I have checked out Reddit. I used the link Gary posted long ago. I looked for Starfury posts but what I found was about Earth Alliance. Well, all things come to an end. Still, I'll drop by here from time to time anyway. You are all welcome to email me if you like: melindaprime@aol.com.

His new board is the Sci-Fi Scroll, which is basically the same as he used to do here, posting news items about various sci-fi stuff. There are also a few Star Trek boards over there that I'm on. The main board is Star Trek. There's also a Star Trek Viewing Party where we are going through the series episode by episode. We're on DS9 right now. Finally, Daystrom Institute is a fun look in-depth at Trek stuff, getting into the minutiae of things. -TK

Thanks so much for all the links! I really appreciate it. I bookmarked 'em and I'll give them a look. Dunno about minutia at Daystrom. I used to have a mind for that, but my age, I'm lucky to remember this morning.

I think CRAM is about five years younger than I am, although perhaps it's more. To tell you the truth I've forgotten, but I did know once upon a time, but by now he's probably in his mid to late 40s I think. As for doing a name search for me on Reddit, I'm not sure how you came up with the result you mention. It makes no sense. I post there often, so if you did a screen name search scores of my posts would show up, and probably my subreddit as well. I see that TK gave you the link. You're more than welcome there, including Cram, if he feels so inclined. I think he may have viewed my becoming a moderator there and posting there instead as a bit of a betrayal (if I had to guess anyway), but my only interest was in participating in a place with more people and a potential for growth, which I didn't see here beyond a certain point, and which I had always expressed as a concern about this forum from early on, as it never did grow over time. So my belief in that regard turned out to be accurate. I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, Mel, and that all is well with you and your family.

Oh well ...I'll get back to it tomorrow, or I won't. I get disgusted beyond words whenever that shit happens to me and I have to try and write it off as typical life's bullshit. Anyway, I digress --sorry that you won't see what I just spent a while to write.

I'm still alive thankfully. I guess what happened is news is so slow, and the forum is small. I post a lot on The Omega Sector under the name StillKirok.
More active. But I'm still alive and well.

I am on the Reddit board for Colony, Season 2 Episode 1. I love Colony. I'm pissed that USA didn't rerun season one before the new one began (there are only ten episodes). USA didn't even rerun the last couple of episodes. (link is at the end)
I love The Last Ship. USA reruns the entire season before a new one begins. Colony deserved the same treatment. It could only help garner more fans.

Hello! Good to hear from you. I did a search for Reddit and The Omega Sector, and nothing came up. That is, I got posts about it not being there anymore. Some people say it's dormant, other says it's undergoing renovations. Maybe it was the wrong thing altogether. Dunno. Care to share a link? It would be appreciated.
