I just dropped by to see what, if anything, was happening, and if I missed anything over the last several months, even though I didn't think so. And then I noticed upon arriving that no one has posted anything here in over a year. It's official.
So maybe this forum should be shut down?

Hey there! I just saw this by chance. I really don’t have the time these days to post, but I frequently peruse the Omega sector, As I suspect some others do too.

I gave that place a try, but got turned off by one of the moderator's flagrantly abusing his power, so I decided to not waste my time there. CRAM caught some of that, although to what extent he paid attention and followed it only he knows, but I won't waste my time around mods who act like dicks.
But as bad as that was, the place was still probably better than the Trek sub over on Reddit. That place has been hopelessly overrun by braindead young folks with hardcore leftist sensibilities. If you want to get needlessly annoyed, just spending a few minutes there would likely be enough to do it.

I really didn’t like Reddit too much when I visited there. Any suggestions on what might be better than the Omega sector.com?

Not really. Not anymore. It's really either Reddit or nothing, but with Reddit a lot depends on the forums, or subreddits, that you choose to subscribe to. If you get good moderators in subreddits that are geared to your interests, they can be pretty good. I would say /r/TheExpanse/ is an example of a good Reddit forum, and it had a lot to do with saving that show once Syfy announced its cancellation. It was instrumental in the campaign to keep it alive and had everything to do with Amazon picking it up for a fourth season. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Reddit is too cliquey.

I don't remember how to create a new post, do I'm adding to this thread. I was here today, February 20,2020, and hoped that maybe somehow people had dropped by to post. I still remember this board, and the one at AOL, fondly, and miss them. I'd also love to know what you Reps think about Trump's and Barr's recent interference with the courts. Today, Trump put a friend in charge of U.S. Intel, who has no intel experience. Does nothing about Trump's actions worry you?

I miss this board. The Reddit Trek Boards are all Nu-Trek All The Time.
