I wonder when Hollywood will realize that Brannon Braga has no talent.
Another Braga show canceled within one season.
The guy is an entertainment cancer. He has never created a good show in his life, and even managed to kill two thriving franchises (Star Trek and 24).
Anyway, for those wondering, Terra Nova, which I didn't watch, was canceled. It was an interesting concept that I would have watched, if not for Braga's association with it.

I watched the first season, was good, but wasn't great. There was too much disney fluff involving the main characters family. However it was a very satisfying and gripping finale and not a bad pilot, just meandered between. It's not a surprise it was canceled. They filmed in New Zealand and the post production took over a year.

There was no real buzz about it either. Not exactly Lost, even though sounds like that was the goal.

I loved Enterprise and Voyager, and I was interested in trying Terra Nova, The Event, and a few other science fiction shows when they are released on disc. It seems to me that any time a new science fiction show is made, it is always cancelled. I enjoyed Brannon Braga's work. I wish more people liked him.

I think it takes talent for a writer to be so bad, people know who he is. You're obviously entitled to your opinion, but I find Braga's work incredibly bad and the fact that he's so arrogant makes it even worse.
I can't think of an original story he's ever done, and I feel you can count his good work on one hand. You can't make a guy a major boss of Star Trek that doesn't like the original series. And he HATED the original series.

I liked The Event. I've been waiting for it to reappear. I just checked and it's been cancelled. Dang.

I don't think Braga was involved in The Event. You're probably thinking of Flashforward!

This is true. The Event was not a Braga work. I wouldn't have even considered tuning in. Unfortunately, that was a show that just didn't catch on.
I guess it could be worse. It could have ended like V.
