Despite trends in Hollywood, fantasy and science fiction aren't giving into political correctness Polish writer Piotr Relich asks if it is still possible for art presenting evangelical truths to be created by a Hollywood which hates Christ and is a tool of mass manipulation and stupefaction "Creators working under the totalitarian system of political correctness must truly utilize mental gymnastics to cheat the discerning eye of their censors and smuggle in — at least for a short moment — timeless values."

CHRIS PRATT DOESN'T THINK HOLLYWOOD IS ANTI-CHRISTIAN www.huffpost.com/entry/chris-pratt-hollywood-anti-christian-religion_n_5ba3e4d8e4b0181540db48c1As someone who lived in Los Angles for decades, and who still has family and friends there, the idea that "Hollywood ... hates Christ" is bogus. From Gary's article: The same happened with the 2018 anti-Catholic insult "Robin Hood" in which the main hero was shown akin to an Antifa leader. OMG, an anti-Catholic insult?? I enjoyed the film, and the star, Taron Egerton, who I've enjoyed in many roles. There was corruption and Robin fought against it. Going back to the earliest sources of Robin Hood, it was always thus.

I do feel Hollywood has a very anti-American, anti-religion tone to it, and I do feel it is quite PC. And at least on the shows I watch, it does tend to force PC values down our throats.
It's a huge problem. Right now, Superman and Lois has been an exception so far, as has Stargirl.

It's a huge problem. Right now, Superman and Lois has been an exception so far, as has Stargirl. The only way to get around this problem is by being very discriminating and selective about what one chooses to watch. There are some shows here and there that don't get caught up in the woke PC bs. I just watched one of them in fact. A show called "Debris" just had its wackiest episode yet. I haven't cared much for this series up to this point, but there may be some good for it even though I have this sneaking feeling that it will only exist for this one season. If anyone is wondering about it, it falls somewhere between 'The X-Files' and 'Fringe.' One of the things that always bothered me about it though is that all the strange phenomena seen in the show relate to the strange debris that in an unexpected event just came crashing down to Earth one day. Just throwing it out there if anyone is interested. But there are some shows that are still produced as TV shows and aren't interested in making statements about politics or our current sickening political climate.

Shockingly, Superman and Lois has not been that political so far. I've been pleasantly surprised, though I watch the show expecting the shoe to drop.
