So Loki premiered today.
I thought it was outstanding, and I like the idea of the time police.
They certainly got out of the "but the Avengers did it too" problem by hitting it head on.
SPOILERS!
However, if there is one true timeline, and others can't exist, what happened to Cap? And didn't Endgame establish the existence of multiple timelines?

Endgame doesn’t understand time travel, for all its talk of it. And the directors and writers can’t even agree about what’s going on with Cap at the end. If Endgame were smartly following its rules, Csp would have hone back and stopped Loki from picking up the tesseract in 2012.
...then again, why don’t the TVA? If they were actually good at their jobs, they would have done that and corrected the issue.
It also makes no sense to try Loki for time crime since from his perspective he hasn’t done anything wrong. He took advantage of sn opportunity and travel through space, not time. Loki was right to pin the blame on the Avengers (though he really shouldn’t exactly know that). So for me the entire setup if the series doesn’t work.
They’ve been teasing multiverse for awhile now, but the first true multiverse split is probably somewhere in Agents of SHIELD. I’m worried now this is how they’re going to write them out of existence, and probably from the wrong point.
I’m not sold on the series yet. The exposition leaves more questions than answers. Heck, the TVA look incompetent. The timeline continues to be an altered branch if you just hold onto Loki and the tesseract! They have to go back where they were!

If Cap stopped Loki in 2012, then there is no need to go to 1970 and get the Tesseract then. That could screw things up. Then again, they played it so that you can't screw up the timeline so that may not be true.
Again the big problem is, where was the TVA when Steve knocked on Peggy's door? From a circumstance point of view, it's the same thing as Loki. But from an INTENT point of view, it's worse.
And how CAN there be a multiverse if the TVA is protecting the timeline, unless the whole purpose of Season 1 is to screw up the TVA so that the multiverse can exist?
