I question why I still post here at all. Even when I was an active moderator over on Reddit, Cram never visited the place even once. A few years back I decided to check out the TrekCore boards and got into a skirmish with one of the dick mods there. Cram happened to be present (no, I didn't go searching for him, he really just happened to be there at the time), and he didn't even say one word in response to what was going on. The way it started off was my fault, but the mod really proved himself to be a dick in the exchange that followed, and I decided not to ever waste my time there anymore as a result. But I digress.
Anyway, I'm still semi-active on Reddit, but it's so leftwing that I don't spend much of my time there at all anymore. And Ruqqus inspired a revolt several weeks back and a lot of their members decided to move to another platform as a result. I followed some of the people there, or perhaps more accurately, I was asked to come along and join them there. So I've started a couple of forums. Anyone here is welcome to check them out and join as well if you're interested. The platform is itself new and a startup, and this is what a lot of people on the right have found themselves having to do in response to the Big Tech hegemony that's taking place: move elsewhere. (Republicans are such assholes - Why did they let it reach this point? Sigh.)
Anyway, give my two forums a look when you get a chance.
Star Trek (on Votal.net)
Sci-Fi (on Votal.net)
The more the merrier.
EDIT: I apologize for the crappy timing, but for any of you that may be wondering, Votal.net is currently down, and has been for the last few days, because they are --according to what I've heard-- doing a complete rebuild of the platform from scratch. Whether that will take a few more days, the rest of the week, or what have you, I do not know. My timing was the worst obviously, and again, I do apologize for that. Last I saw the site was up and running and I was posting there. Then it was completely down with no explanation. They have not informed their subscribers that this was coming and I don't know why, but hopefully the platform will be even cooler once it does come back up. I will let you know when that happens.
