William Shatner on the First Four ‘Star Trek’ Movies and His Thoughts on Whether They Should Fix Mistakes with Modern VFX

Ironic. My place was demolished by Hurricane Ida last week. All of my Trek movies on Blu-ray were ruined by the damage it caused and are now sitting with bags and bags of garbage waiting to be picked up by sanitation. The long and short of it is that now I'll actually have a reason to buy this 4k set, although not for a while obviously. There's so many things that need to be addressed first before I can even worry about something as trivial as movies on disc.

Sigh.

Ack! That’s awful.

I don’t know if you remember DOwen1701 from the old boards, but I still play trivia with him and has a similar story. His place burned down in the California fires a few years ago and he lost most of his Trek memorabilia.

I never had a problem with updated effects. The original effects are always available.
