Mel Here - I Used Kaspersky for Years - Now What??

First things first.  This is Melinda, Mel.  

My laptop died, and in moving from WA to TX (oh gawd, how I regret that!) I lost my only printed list of all online data.  

That is to say, I don't recall my screen name for this board.  I looked at Members, but they're all literally question marks -- no info.  Maybe that's protection for members and it's guarding me against seeing the real data.  I hope it's not because this board is dead and gone!

Now, to the reason I'm here.



I used Kaspersky protection for decades and loved it.  Now, thanks to the government, I had to get rid of it. 

Being totally lost, I bought Bitdefender Total Security and Bitdefender VPN.  I put both of these on my laptop AND my cell phone.

I just noticed that Bitdefender sells Bitdefender Mobile Security (it's "free" for a couple of weeks, and then one has to buy it).  Should I remove the stuff I put on my cell phone, and put this mobile stuff on my cell phone??  It's an android phone.

Are there other *better* products that I should have bought instead??  I don't mind buying new stuff, if what I bought isn't that good.  I'm afraid to do any online banking until I find out if this stuff is any good.

I honestly have no idea anymore.  I'm in my 70's.  Once upon a time, I knew all this stuff, and/or knew people who did.  I don't anymore.  ANY help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you so much.



I sure miss this board.  I wish it was a bit more active.   I hope some of you drop by to answer my questions.  Thanks again.

I wrote melinda.tea and it didn't work. I put the rest of the address, and again, it didn't work.

Did you look at my member name? I kinda recall signing up with a different name, but of course, by this point, I'm not sure.

I suspect that my member name is not related to my email address. Cram, you own this board, so you can look at my membership and see what name I used. If you don't want to do that, I will accept that, since it's your board. I'll check back in about a week to see if you've noticed this post and replied to it. Thanks, Mel
