The composer responsible for setting the mood for much of the Stargate franchise, Joel Goldsmith, has passed away at the age of 54. Goldsmith worked on Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe, scoring a total of 334 episodes during his sci-fi career.
