What if, in STXI, Spock and Nero change younger Spock's attitude so he's not quite so self sacrificing in ST2? Perhaps it would look like this: LOL! oh man, that's hilarious. -Wahr

Ditto! Hilarious. A clever, and good, job of editing by the YT creator.

This is kinda long, but REALLY worth sitting through....even if the first bit is about "Star Trek: The Abomination, Part 2" (otherwise called "Star Trek: Enterprise")

I finally watched the YT with the two-part ending to Generations. OMG, that made me misty! It was very lovely, and would have been an outstanding way to pass the torch., from one generation to another. Loved the final view of the ship, too.
That said, Kirk couldn't have died if Shatner hadn't played him. As I've said repeatedly, it was an actor's dream. How often does an actor get to play a role for decades, including a death scene? Hardly ever.
I also watched the one about "if Picard wasn't so stupid." I love the ending, but not the caption. Blame the writers, not Picard!

Just watched the one where Shatner BBQs, and I've got one question: Is that really his backyard? A man that wealthy lives under a flight path and hears jets overhead??

Wow, it's practically an MT hate-fest in here!
Still, the Final Battle was interesting as Spock would say. I'm amazed at people's creativity, and wish they would add one more thing: Captions. Even with headphones (I have a laptop) I could barely make out the dialogue, but at my age, the FX are still plenty loud.
I think that's the only regret I have about getting older: Everything is so much harder to hear, and I can't afford hearing aids. That's partially thanks to technology. Analog hearing aids are cheap, and all I need, but nobody makes them anymore. They're all digital.
I bought a "as seen on TV" cheapo hearing device that's supposed to look like an ear cell phone. It actually works beautifully -- when I continually push it in my ear. None of the ear plugs (whatever) fit my ear; they're all too big, despite coming in three sizes., so I have to force it in (no sex puns, please!).
Well, I'm rattling on to all of you. Lemme close with this: Someday, you too will grow old.

One more thing. I'm not seeing any Google ads when clicking on these videos (is that what they call 'em?). Perhaps that's because I have a YouTube Player added on to my Foxfire? Possibly it's because I have a Foxfire add-on to eliminate ads. Dunno.

Strangely enough, the google ads aren't there for most of these videos either.

Wasn't a big fan of that Star Wars v. Star Trek, given how easily they blew up Kirk and crew. Tie fighters doing real damage to the Enterprise? Didn't like that.

This was shown to me by a friend from the Browncoats, and the first time I saw it, I laughed so hard I almost had an accident, if you get my meaning. ;D

Why did all the YouTube Videos disappear? I traced back to see how to post one, but noticed that all the videos have vanished.
So anyway, here's the article from the Sci Fi Wire, to which I say, "Oh, Dear Lord!"Kirk hits on Uhura in new Star Trek clip, now liveMTV.com has posted a new clip (after the jump) from J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Trek, featuring Chris Pine as James Kirk and Zoe Saldana as Uhura. The clip, "Shot of Love," comes from early in the movie, when the civilian Iowa farm boy Kirk hits on Uhura in a local bar, leading to a fight with Starfleet cadets. Meanwhile, Yahoo! has posted its own new clip, featuring Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy. Star Trek opens May 8. scifiwire.com/2009/04/kirk-hits-on-uhura-in-new.php*-GarySeven-*

If you loved (or even liked, hell, even somewhat familer) with the old TV series 'Dallas' you'll get a kick out of this....

I didn't catch this when I uploaded that last clip...after it's over, look at the roll of pics on the bottom...there's more clips, including a mix of 'Generations' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.
