Very nice! Cram, did you make it? That seems like an excellent way to BBK and reunite the crew, in CGI, complete with a holographic Bones! CGI has come such a long way. As the actors are still around, TPTB could do this and use their voices. Could work on TV!

Actually, this thing is 5 years old. I wish I could take credit for it. I always felt a Trek animated movie would be a cost effective way to unite different eras. I'm sure the technology is much better today.

Another few great Youtube videos showing just how meaningless Kirk's death meant to Generations. Look how much different the tone of the movie would be if this was edited into canon:
Part 1
Part 2
Here's the most logical ending if Picard weren't so stupid:

Feel free to post and comment on any Trek related video you want. Cool video. I'm surprised I haven't seen that one before. I was just telling Kahvis earlier this week that although I don't have much interest in the upcoming film, I would love to see a state of the art CGI animated Trek film. Thanks to Abrams and the current idiots in charge, that's probably the only way we could actually get Shatner back in a Star Trek film....

What's with the Google ads to the right of YouTube videos?
In any case, here's a contribution:

The google ads to the right are the price I guess for the free board. They seem to only pop up when you post videos. Strangely, they didn't pop up with yours.
And how does someone go through all that effort to make a video, and spell NIMOY wrong?

Nimoy as a cab driver for The Bangles, video for Going Down to LiverPool. He doesn't say anything, but it's him nonetheless.

How do you start a new thread, for a different video? Or is every post considered a reply to the first post (here, being "The Trek On Yahoo Thread")?

Thought everyone would like this bit of strangeness.... --Gary 7-- um....thanks Gary! I hope I don't have nightmares. LOL I've seen that one before, and although it's "kinda" cool....it comes off just a bit campy, don't ya think? ;-)On the other hand, I think this is the kind of thing that Shatner could most likely pull off better than anybody! -Wahr

In 1985, Adam Nimoy's first directing job was the music video with the Bangles. His dad plays the chauffeur. About that time, Adam and I worked at the same law firm. He was an attorney interested in becoming a director. I was a paralegal and soon after I moved to a new law firm. He was the only one who had heard of it; it specialized in entertainment law, and he wanted to work there if he continued to be an attorney.

Perhaps you don't have the newest version of Adobe Flash Player, Cap? I can't see anything (video) either if I use IE, which won't let me update, But if I use Safari or Firefox, i don't have any problems at all.

Mel, we know each other for how many years now, and you're only now mentioning that you knew Adam Nimoy and worked with him?
Good Lord.
And I had forgotten all about that Bangles video.

I recall mentioning my "brush with greatness" only once, and I'd guess it was ten years ago or so. My secretary at the law office passed around a birthday card for me. Adam, knowing I was into Trek, signed it, "Live long and prosper," complete with the hand sign. It made my year!

Saved, yes. Locate, not so much. I have keepsakes going back to the 60's, but when going through them, I haven't noticed that BD card in a long time. I've moved from state to state several times since the 80's. I hope I haven't lost it. It always brings a smile to my face.

When you do (I won't say "if") put it in a box labled "Important mementos" and put some other Very Important Stuff in as well, put it in your closet where you can see it. I'd say put it in a bank's safe deposit box, but these days your matress is a better bet. --Gary 7--

What if, in STXI, Spock and Nero change younger Spock's attitude so he's not quite so self sacrificing in ST2?
Perhaps it would look like this:
